  • Thursday, September 11

6:30–7:45 PM

VFW Post 988 – 705 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN

This isn’t a service or a sermon. It’s a sacred fire watch—
a place to stand guard with one another in quiet strength, under God.

“The LORD spoke to Moses, saying: ‘Command the people of Israel to bring you pure oil…
that a light may be kept burning regularly.’”-
Leviticus 24:1–2

For those weary and heavy-laden, The Watchfire offers rest for the soul.
It’s not a place for performance—but for peace, presence, and promise.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”-Matthew 11:28

Their hands once held weapons. Now, their hearts reach out for the One who said:

“You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”-Jeremiah 29:13

Who should come?

All veterans and those who serve them—
• Combat & peacetime service members
• Active duty, Guard, & Reserve
• VFW & Auxiliary
• Spouses, chaplains, & Gold Star families
• Anyone spiritually curious, weary, or searching for strength
